# Hey team. Probably a silly question, but is the uischema standard used by jsonforms the one at uischema.org?

Hi @econtentmaps(econtentmaps), that’s a good question 😉 No, the ui schema we use is specified by us and therefore only applies to JSON Forms. It’s not compatible to the one of [uischema.org](http://uischema.org). Of course the format we defined is generic enough that it could also be used outside of JSON Forms but I don’t know of any other framework doing so.

Awesome. Thanks for the reply - It all makes sense now. There seem to be a few schemas for controlling UIs out there called uischema 🙂
